Valeria is a Design Director with over 15 years of professional experience with international design firms, managing projects with a wide range of specializations from Masterplan to Building Design, focusing on Interior Design for Educational, Leisure, Hospitality and Wellness Design projects.
Highly skilled in Concept Design, she also contributes to maintain high standards for the overall design process assuring each client gets the best result, on time and within the budget. Her aim for any project is to create added value, designing spaces that will enrich the life of a place and its community.
In 2014 she joined SCA, where she has been responsible for awarded Architecture, high-end Interior Design and wide mixed-use masterplans projects.
She started her practice abroad, in Barcelona, at STUDIO EMBT working on the Naples Underground Central Station project and several international competitions. She moved back to Rome to join studio MORQ, where she worked for three years in the field of luxury residential and hospitality design. Her next stint was at King Roselli Architects, where she spent four years mainly operating in cultural and hospitality design participating in multiple international competitions and several hospitality projects such as Club Med Cefalù in Sicily, Camplus Student Housing in Rome, National Convention Centre Hotel in Doha and Palazzo Montemartini 5* Hotel in Rome.
Currently as Design Director at Studio Costa Architecture, she’s constantly focused on building team capabilities and encouraging a productive creative process; her aim is to improve the studio design workflow with an integrated system of multidisciplinary design tools, from hand sketches to BIM, passing through parametric, complex modeling up to the most advanced virtual reality and visualization programs. Special attention is always dedicated to materials and finishes, the real essence of a project assuring a unique design identity.
Deeply passionate in art and visual communication, she’s also responsible for marketing and design communication department, curating studio cultural contents, social media and publishing activities.
